Reverend John Brownlee is the longest serving Pastor of Beulah Baptist Church, since 1985.  A lifelong resident of Western Massachusetts, John holds his Masters of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.  John presently serves on the on the Board of Directors for the Baptist Convention of New England and is the Prayer Coordinator for the Massachusetts Baptist Association, for whom he recently conducted a seminar on Spiritual Intimacy. 

Under John's leadership, Beulah has created a strong missions program that has continued to support pastors and missionaries internationally, nationally, and locally.  These opportunities have allowed John to mentor and teach pastors and church leaders of the former Soviet Union.

John is known as a Bible teacher.  He has preached a six year paragraph by paragraph series through the entire Gospel of Luke.  As a visiting professor at the New Life Bible College in Moscow, John taught a course he designed on the life of Jesus.  Presently, he is preaching through the Gospel of John.



Reverend Adam Couturier has been active at Beulah Baptist Church since 1996, serving in various capacities including his most recent experience as the church’s Teaching Fellow. Adam holds his Bachelors degree in Biblical Studies from Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo., and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Old Testament Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. His research interests include Biblical Wisdom Literature, ritual in the 1st Testament, and Paul’s epistle to the Galatians.   Adam was ordained through the Southern Baptist Convention on October 18, 2008.

Adam maintains student memberships in the Evangelical Theological Society and the Society of Biblical Literature.
